Properties

Properties define system-wide configuration settings for CWSerenade.

• The Working with Customer Properties (PROP) menu option contains properties that an administrator type user would update, such as system-wide configuration settings for forms, integrations, and system settings.

• The Working with PayPal System Properties (PPOP) menu option contains properties used for the PayPal integration.

• The Working with Admin Properties (CPRP) menu option contains properties that an administrator would update, such as system-wide configuration settings for email, logging, system and job monitoring, printing, and system settings.

• The CWDirectCP Server Properties File contains properties that an administrator would update that affect each CWSerenade application server. You must have access to the CWSerenade application server in order to update this property file.

If you update a property in the Working with Customer Properties (PROP) or Working with Admin Properties (CPRP) menu option, your update takes effect immediately.

If you update a property in the CWDirectCP Server Properties File, you must stop and restart the Serenade service (or the application server) before the change takes effect.
